The Vention HBEBB is a compact DisplayPort-to-VGA converter that connects a desktop PC, workstation, or laptop with a full-size DisplayPort output to any VGA-equipped monitor, projector, or display. At 15cm, it sits flush at the source port as a stub adapter, keeping cable runs short and desks tidy. It supports up to 1080p @ 60Hz, works immediately on Windows, macOS, and Linux without driver installation, and requires no external power supply.

VGA remains the most widely installed display connection in offices, classrooms, and meeting rooms worldwide — built into projectors, older monitors, and AV equipment that would otherwise be expensive to replace. The Vention HBEBB bridges the gap between modern DisplayPort-equipped hardware and that legacy infrastructure cleanly and permanently. Its gold-plated DisplayPort and VGA contacts resist corrosion over thousands of connections, and the built-in smart chip ensures a stable, flicker-free image without the intermittent blank screens that poorly engineered passive adapters produce.

It is important to note upfront that VGA is a video-only standard. The HBEBB carries no audio signal — a separate audio connection from the source device to speakers or a display with a 3.5mm input is required whenever sound is needed alongside the video output.
